DPFD Visits Bozo Show Video

Back in the 80's, one of our Fire Inspectors, John Heavey, arranged for a few of us to appear on the then popular children's TV show "Bozo the Clown" on WGN-TV. Primary focus was to alleviate fear of possibly scary looking or sounding firefighters that may be conducting a search and rescue operation in a home. I knew one of the WGN camera guys, so got plenty of air time!
